8 December 2023 - The Epping Club continues its commitment to the local community this festive season by extending a helping hand to vulnerable and disadvantaged Australians through a ‘trolley load’ of donations to CCA (Community Care Australia). As part of its ongoing mission to engage and support the community, The Epping Club has rallied its members to contribute to a Christmas food appeal benefiting those in need within the Parramatta Council area.
CCA, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to assisting vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals embodies a mission centred on community engagement and support for those facing hardships.
Recognising the importance of addressing local needs, this is the fifth year that The Epping Club has prioritised supporting CCA in their admirable efforts to aid those who need it most in the local area.
CEO Peter Saez emphasized the Club's dedication to fostering a strong community bond and helping those in need, stating, "We believe in the importance of supporting our local community, especially during this festive season. Contributing to CCA's Christmas food appeal aligns with our values of care and support for our neighbours’ facing difficulties. I am most proud of the generosity of our members who have made this a successful drive!”
CEO of the organisation Heather Pinto was in attendance to collect the many donations and thanked the Club and its members for their efforts. “We are always delighted to partner with The Epping Club, they are a wonderful supporter to us and the local area. This is impactful, grassroots work that makes an immediate difference.”
The Epping Club encourages other local businesses and community members to join them in 2024 in supporting CCA to ensure that everyone can experience the warmth and joy of the holiday season.
